The JLF is one of the most awaited Literature festivals in India. The festival sees a large number of people flocking to Jaipur from all over the country. The five days festival witnesses discussions on books by some of the most renowned authors, bookstalls, panel discussions on various talks, musical fests and a lot more. It is a fun and informative packed five days which you should not miss if you are a literature fan.
Gear up for the exciting 5 days literature festival at Jaipur
The main directors of the festival are- William Dalrymple and Namita Gokhale. Dalrymple is a writer, best known for his works such as the City of Djinns: A Year in Delhi, Nine Lives: In Search of the Sacred in Modern India and many more.
Gokhale is an esteemed award-winning writer for her books such as Things to Leave Behind. She has also written a book like Paro: Dreams of Passion, Mountain Echoes – Reminiscences of Kumaoni Women (non-fiction), and many more.
JLF was founded in the year 2006 and is an Initiative of the Jaipur Virasat Foundation founded by Faith Singh.
