Internet is no longer required to use Paytm; here is everything about the new feature
According to reports, Smartphone or internet data is no longer required to use the Paytm services, which means Ab without internet bhi Paytm Karo. The company has just announced that it has expanded its reach to the non- internet users , who use feature phones.
The company has launched a toll -free number -1800 1800 1234 to enable all the customers and merchants without internet services to instantly pay and receive their money.
However, you will still need a Smartphone or access to the PC in order to create your Paytm account, and get it link to your phone number. To make day to day payments you won’t need a Smartphone or an internet connection. All you require is working phone.
What all are the steps you have to follow?
To use the service, users ( both merchants and customers ) first need to get themselves with Paytm through their mobile number
Then they need to set up a Paytm Pin
They can then enter the recipient’s mobile number, amount and their Paytm Pin to transfer the money from their wallet to another wallet
The company in November rolled out a feature allowing users and merchants to send money from their Paytm wallet to any bank account on 1 percent transaction charges. However, recently it has announced that no charges would be taken from customers on bank transfers.
After announcement of demonetization, the usage of Paytm has drastically increased. Everywhere people are using Paytm to make payments. India has become cashless. And Paytm has come in the rescue for lot of us. The recently launched feature will also help people a lot.
