India to face Bangladesh in second Warm-Up match


India will look to revive their form against vulnerable Bangladesh

After facing defeat in the first Warm-Up game, Indian team will look to pump their muscles against Bangladesh at Cardiff on 28th January. New Zealand handed India a humiliating defeat by 6 wickets with 12.5 overs to spare. The men in blue will try to repeat their opening performance in India vs Bangladesh clash in 2011 Word Cup.

Jadeja was the lone ranger for Indian team

Indian batting failed miserably as they lost 7 wickets before 100. India struggled to make partnership since starting and could manage to score only 179. Ravindra Jadeja score 54 0f 50 balls to take India to a respectable total. Hardik Pandya looked good for his 30 and hit hat-trick of fours to pacer Lockie Ferguson.

India would want to forget their first performance in World Cup 2019 against New Zealand and want to go all out against vulnerable Bangladesh team. On paper India is a way better team than Bangladesh and can defeat them easily. However, they are strong against New Zealand team too but they under-performed.

Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan would want to give a good start

Captain Kohli’s team struggled against the seaming balls Of Trent Boult and James Neesham. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan would want to start better against the Asian rival and forge a good partnership for the first wicket. India would want work on their loopholes of batting and spin bowling.

Form of Kuldeep Yadav is a big concern for India

Form of Kuldeep Yadav has become a big concern for the Indian team. Neither in the IPL nor in the first Warm-Up match, he was impressive. Bhuvneshwar Kumar would want to make most of the new ball by swinging it both ways. Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav is expected to get chance in the practice game as they were unavailable in the last game.

We all know the caliber and class of the KL Rahul and how vital he could be. In the first match, he was used as the number 4, now it would be interesting to see how he is used in the coming games. He looked impressive before playing down a ball on wickets. If given chance he would want to utilize his chance in India vs Bangladesh.
