Pakistan has the talent; just need the proper direction

There are two teams in World Cricket who are unpredictable. You never know how Pakistan and West Indies will perform in a tournament. Pakistan has some exciting young talent in both the batting and bowling department.

Pakistan has one World Cup in their closet to give them enough confidence to go to England and Wales. They may have lost the series against England at their home ground but they have played good cricket. Batsmen scored big scores throughout the series, it was bowlers who failed them.

The experience of Mohammad Amir will boost the pace attack

Mohammad Amir was not selected in the 15-man squad of World-Cup 2019. England thrashed Pakistani bowlers in the recent series which has alarmed the selectors and captain to include the left arm sensation in World Cup squad.

The Pakistani team is loaded with batting talents. They have the young brigade of Fakhar Zaman, Imam-Ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Abid Ali and experienced Shoaib Malik, Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and Mohammad Hafeez who balances the team composition in batting.

Pakistan’s batting is better than bowling for the first time in World Cup

Shaheen Afridi, Junaid Khan, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohhamad Amir is the pack of pace attack for England. Pakistan is always known for their fast bowling but this is the first time when Pak is going into a World Cup with batting outclassing the bowling.

Shadab Khan, Haris Sohail and Imad Wasim along with Mohammad Hafeez and  Shoaib Malik will provide variations to Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed while they are fighting it out on the ground.

The team is loaded with Batting and bowling talents. It’s just that Captain needs to know how to make the best use of them. The middle order is a bit of concern even though they have experience of Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik, and Mohammad Hafeez.
