Here are some home remedies for your winter problems!!

Winter along with itself brings a bunch of problems. We often hear people complain of dry skin, dry hair, chapped lips, and so on. Although there are a variety of products available in the market to combat these, they are also very expensive. And full of chemicals.

But don’t worry!! There are plenty of home remedies for your winter problems that are safe, cheap, and chemical-free. So here we are with a few home remedies for your winter problems!

Remedy for Dry Face:

Avocado Mask

  1. Avocado mask

This yummy fruit is packed with healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. This is not only super delicious, but it also has an impressive list of skin-boosting benefits. Avocados are an excellent source of vitamins E and C, both of which play a key role in the health and vitality of your skin. These protect the skin from oxidative damage caused by the sun and other environmental factors. It also has Biotin, which is known to help prevent dry skin when applied topically. It can also help prevent brittle hair and nails.

How to prepare an Avocado mask?

It is extremely simple to prepare the mask. Simply mask the avocado into a smooth paste. Now add a little coconut oil, honey and a little water to it. Blend it well and use it immediately. Leave it on for 15 mins and then wash your face.

Yoghurt mask

  1. Yoghurt mask

It’s best to use plain, unflavored yoghurt for a face mask. It has a variety of skin enriching and protecting benefits. Yoghurt’s creamy texture is thought to help lock in moisture in your skin and can potentially brighten your skin. Yoghurt may help minimize the effects of ultraviolet (UV) rays. Probiotics in yoghurt may help protect against signs of ageing. The Probiotics in yoghurt are also thought to help fight P. acne bacteria, a leading cause of inflammatory acne lesions and overall inflammation, which may, in turn, soothe acne and help to prevent future breakouts.

How to prepare a Yogurt mask?

While plain yoghurt itself can work as an excellent mask, you can also add some things extra for the added benefit. For inflammatory and oily skin, you can add a little honey and a pinch of turmeric into your yoghurt face masks. For irritated skin, add a little honey and aloe vera gel. For hyperpigmentation squeeze a few drops of lemon into the pack.
