Hardik Pandya ‘Helicopter Shot’ is making Cricket Fans Nostalgic

Hardik is bringing back the memory of young Dhoni

When M.S. Dhoni entered  International cricket, he invented a new helicopter shot which made him a household name in India. It seems like Dhoni was bored with his helicopter so he passed it to Hardik Pandya to take care of it. The MI player has been taking great care of Dhoni’s Helicopter and landing it into crowd usually whenever he comes to bat.

(Hardik Pandya)

Hardik has been in a great form in ongoing IPL. Rohit Sharma led MI has set a specific role for the all-rounder. He has been given the license to go after all the bowlers which Pandya is doing significantly. Pandya has helped his team several times at the back-end of the innings by playing some quick innings.

Pandya going through a form of his life!

The Indian all-rounder has scored 264 runs in 9 innings with an amazing strike rate of 164 with 18 sixes and 19 fours. A lot of discussions has been going on 3-dimensional players. Pandya is a perfect example of three-dimensional players as he has taken 9 precious wickets for Mukesh Ambani’s team and has been consistently saving runs in the field. Well, he is still not featuring in the best catches of the season this is probably because he never got a chance to pull something stunning.

Is he ready for the World Cup?

Hardik Pandya is all set to play his first ever ICC Cricket World Cup in 50 overs cricket. Indian captain Kohli has praised Pandya many times for his amazing skills in all three departments. He has said that the all-rounder gives a great balance to the team.

It will be interesting to watch if he can handle the World Cup pressure. He has played in England before which will help his cause. Who could forget his alone effort of 76 of just 43 balls against Pakistan in ICC Champions Trophy final 2017.
