Life is better with friends

 Jai and Veeru

Nobody can forget the iconic characters of Jai and Veeru from the film Sholay. Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) Veeru (Dharmendra). Their bromance is still an example. The song ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nhi Todenge’ went on to become a Bromance anthem.

 Rahul and Anjali

We all know Pyaar Dosti hai, right? Because Rahul and Anjali have taught us. Love is friendship. Friendship is the key to every successful relationship.

Munna Bhai and Circuit

Munna Bhai and Circuit’s friendship became the second most popular friendships on screen after Jai and Veeru.  Circuit was available for his friend Munna Bhai. Whether it was getting Munna Bhai into medical school, beating up people who were getting into Munna Bhai’s way and helping him in impressing Chinki.

How can we forget Raju, Farhan, and Rancho’s bonding?

Their bonding in 3 idiots made the viewers laugh and cry at the same time. Their adventure, misadventure, bromance make 3 idiots a great watch on Friendship Day.  Do you remember ‘Prerajulistion’ and ‘Farhanite’?

The Gang of Veere Di Wedding

More recently, Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar all proved that women can also set an example when it comes to friendship.

How to make your friendship day special?

  • Rekindle the old friendships, send some texts and make some calls. Dig the numbers from your call list and ring up your oldest friends.
  • Take your mom out for a lunch. After all, she is your best friend.
  • Anonymously leave gifts for your friend. Isn’t a cool idea?
  • Call your friends at your place. Cook good food, watch a movie and cherish your bond.

Happy Friendship Day to all! Don’t Har ek friend zaroori hota hai!
