A guy who struggled in initial phases to bag a single role now has the Bollywood fans rolling over him. Pankaj Tripathi got his first chance in 2004 when he played a role in Abhishek Bachchan Starrer “Run”. He got recognition in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur as ‘Sultan Qureshi” where he nailed the role with conviction. It was Kaleen Bhaiya which gained him a lot of accolades and fame. Gangs of Wassepur marked the fame of two untraditional heroes who are currently the heart-throb of people. The world saw the rise of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pankaj Tripathi in the industry. Till this movie, we knew almost nothing about these two method actors but since then we have become an addict of these two.

He established himself as the ultimate crimelord in the Bollywood industry with this role. The show which released last year was well appreciated with critics as well as audiences. The show had good one-liners and desi-connect.
