A video showing a group of police officers falling off an e-rickshaw on a waterlogged road was shared by the several verified Twitter handles linked to the Indian national congress. It was shared with a motive to make people aware of the condition of roads in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

A report published in the Hindi newspaper Navbharat Times verified that the incident occurred in Bandikui, Rajasthan on October 2, 2021. The report further stated that the police officers were on their way to work in an e-rickshaw when it overturned as the driver missed a pothole due to the waterlogging on the road.
