Live at the Pyramid: Watch Saby Perform At Monkey Bar, VasantKunj

Saby considers his major asset in his musical career to be the sheer amount of time that he spend listening to music that he could find. He spent his teens in listening to blues, jazz, rock, alternate rock, grunge, classic rock, RnB, hip-hop and pop. He also wrote a lot of poetry in that time that he returns back to for lyrical ideas. He got his first guitar, which he lend from a friend, and learned and wrote his first songs on that guitar. He then bought his first guitar after a couple of years. He has been playing the guitar for over 3 years now. He is also a trained Tabla player, Harmonium player and a western classical Pianist

Queen-size at OddBird

Triggered by Nishit Saran’s article titled ‘Why My Bedroom Habits Are Your Business’ (first published in the Indian Express in January 2000) Queen-Size is a choreographic exploration of the intimacy between two men. Played out on a charpoy, the duet examines the nuts and bolts of a close encounter between two male bodies and poses questions around spectatorship, privacy and dissent. Choreographed by MandeepRaikhy and performed by LalitKhatana and ParinayMehra.
