We all know how active our Prime Minister is on Social Media. He uses this platform as a boss. Elections 2019 is around the corner and parties are leaving no stone unturned in promoting their ideas. Recently, the dates for polls were announced by the Election Commission of India. Elections will take place in seven phases this year which will begin from April 11. Along with dates, the Model Code of Conduct was also announced by EC. Interestingly, the Model Code of Conduct will also be applicable to social media this time. Social Media is a powerful tool, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s social media game always stays on point.

How is he using social media platform effectively?

His presence on social media was one of the major reasons behind the victory of BJP led NDA party in 2014. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the World’s second most popular leader on Facebook after Barack Obama and he is the third most followed leader on Twitter. Someone who is active on Twitter can see how wonderfully BJP is promoting its ideas on the platform.

In the wee hours of Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and tagged some biggest names of India including Rahul Gandhi and appealed to encourage people to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. He tagged some of the biggest names in India. The list includes Rahul Gandhi, Mamta Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, Mayawati, Akhilesh Yadav, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Baba Ramdev, and many more.

He went on to tag some young stars too and the way he appealed to them is commendable. While tagging Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, and Vicky Kaushal, he wrote, “Many youngsters admire you. It is time to tell them: Apna Time Aa Gaya Hai and that it is time to turn up with high Josh to a voting center near you.”

Well, the fortune of India will be decided on May 23. Before that, it is important to promote for every political party to sell their ideas to the public.
