Dussehra is one of the most popular festivals of India. It signifies the victory of good over evil, truth over false.  The festival inspires us to follow the path of Dharma which is righteousness. It reminds us that in the end good always wins. Raavan was a very knowledgeable person but it was his ego became the cause of his fall. 1. Always keep your ego in check

You can be good at doing certain things but you should always keep your ego in check. Ego is the most unproductive emotion of a human being. Raavan was one of the wisest people of his time. But his superego became the reason for his fall. He was one of the greatest devotees of Lord Shiva. He thought that no can one defeat him and his superego made him an evil.

2. Never share your secrets

Never share your secrets. Vibhishan knew the secret of Ravana death. It would have been very difficult for Lord Rama to kill Raavan but Vibhishan shared the secret. This also became a reason for Raavan’s fall. It taught us that we should never share our secrets with others.

3. Mastering inner world is important

Today, we all are equipped with technology. We are willing to conquer the entire world but we are not concerned about the inner world. We are depressed and sad. We have become cruel but this world needs love. We should respect man, woman, animals, birds equally.

4. Truth is the crux

You will not be benefitted by anything until or unless you will not keep your heart clean. If you are on the side of truth, then you will always win. The justice might get delayed but it would always be served.

5. Burn all the negativity inside you

You should burn all the negativity inside you. Emotions like anger, lust, greed, jealousy should not be kept inside. They should be burnt on Dussehra.
