Delhi NCR rains: No relief to Delhi-NCR residents, Government shut schools and offices
Delhi NCR rains: Delhi-NCR was flooded during the day due to the heavy downpour that caused a choke-a-block situation at several intersections. As the national capital experienced flood-like conditions., The weather department has warned that rainfall will also continue for a few more days. Keeping the situation in mind, Noida and Gurugram authorities have issued a few guidelines. As a result of severe flooding in Noida, all government and private schools up to class 8 will remain closed. To offer some relief to commuters, the authorities in Gurugram have advised all corporations to allow employees to work from home on Friday, September 23.
Disaster led to death!
In Noida, a 42-year-old employee of a leading company died after allegedly falling off his ninth-floor balcony during heavy rains. Amid rains, the weather department has issued a yellow alert for Friday cautioning people about moderate rain at most places in New Delhi.

Delhi NCR rains: Do not take these routes
The weather department has issued a ‘yellow alert’‘, warning of ‘light intensity rain/drizzle over the south and south-east Delhi and parts of the NCR, including Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Dadri, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabgarh and other areas.

Delhi Traffic Police, meanwhile, tweeted to update people on the traffic situation and to ask that they avoid waterlogged areas. Such regions include Hanuman Setu on Shantivan to Hanuman Mandir carriageway, Libaspur underpass, Maharani Bagh Taimur Nagar cut, CDR Chowk, Mehrauli towards Gurugram, and Andheria Mode towards Vasant Kunj.
They have also advised people to avoid areas around Nizamuddin bridge, Singhu border near petrol pump, MB Road towards Sainik Farm carriageway and tweeted that people should plan their journeys accordingly.
