China’s Apple in India now! : Mi3
The countdown is on for Xiaomi Mi3 to step in India. Xiaomi, popularly known as ‘China’s Apple’ is launching its Mi3 set in India very soon.
With Android 4.4 Kitkat, Xiaomi offers a bunch of security options and several cloud services in India. Slightly costlier than Moto G, the Mi3 phones has a slim design and look similar to Nokia’s Lumia sets. The phone has a display screen of 5 inch with a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. Other special features include:

Processor- 2.3 HGZ
Rear Camera- 13 megapixel
Front Camera- 2 megapixel
OS- Android 4.4
Battery Capacity- 3050 mAh
Presently, it is available only in one color, that is, metallic grey.
The Xiaomi Mi3 is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The Mi 3 comes with 16GB of in-built storage with no expandable storage support. The Mi 3 measures 144×73.6×8.1mm and weighs 145 grams.
Xiaomi Mi3 was unveiled in China during the ‘Xiaomi New Product Launch’ event in September 2013 and is also available in Singapore and Malaysia. And now with a price tag of Rs 13,999, this set will be launching in India on 22nd July 2014 along with Google Play store app. Xiaomi is partnering with Flipkart in India. The registration for phone is going on and its sale will start from 22nd July. The phone can be booked online on Flipkart.com till 31st July. Apart from this, Xiaomi is also planning to launch Redmi 1S, a budget phone at Rs. 6,999 along with Redmi Note and Mi4 very soon.
For the launch in India, Bin Lin, the Co-Founder and President of Xiaomi and Hugo Barra, the Vice President of Xiaomi would be present for the event along with Manu Kumar Jain, the general manager of Xiaomi in India. Xiaomi India has launched few themes which are available now on MIUI theme store exclusively for Indian users.
