#BringBackAbhinandan: What Pakistan has to say?
Ever since the news broke that Pakistan has wing commander Varthaman Abhinandan in its custody, the nation is praying for his safe return. People are urging to bring back Abhinandan. From a commoner to all Bollywood celebrities, everybody wants him to return to India safely. According to fresh reports, Pakistan FM has said that they would be prepared to return Indian Air Force Pilot Varthaman Abhinandan if it eases the conflict with its neighbor.
According to a news agency, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, “We are willing to return the captured Indian pilot if it leads to de-escalation.”
However, India won’t allow Pakistan to use IAF pilot Abhinandan as a bargaining tool or a negotiating point, as per reports. People in Indian government are saying that IAF pilot has to be repatriated unconditionally and immediately, there is no question of any deal.
Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities took to their twitter account to extend their support to IAF Pilot Abhinanadan.
Here are a few tweets of the celebrities:
Actress Nimrat Kaur who comes from an Army background said, “Strength and resolve to the family and loved ones of Wing Commander Abhinandan. The nation’s prayers and thoughts are with him in this tough hour. May this stoic, dignified officer be back on Indian soil soon?”
Beauty with brain Sushmita Sen who is the daughter of a retired Indian Air officer, wrote, “We all are praying for the safe return of Wing Commander Abhinandan.”
Actor R. Madhavan also took to his twitter account and wrote, “It’s a war against terror not between two nations yet. Dear Media you can actually stop this escalation. Please let’s be responsible and work towards peace.”
There were many other celebrities too who tweeted in support of the IAF Pilot. But R. Madhavan had a valid point we should act responsibly and not forget that this is a war against terror.
