Box office collection of Super 30 is underwhelming but it is likely to pickup

Hrithik Roshan starrer has performed decently on the first day of its release on box office. The movie has earned 11.83 crore on day one which is a little disappointing but it is expected to pick up over the weekends. The box office collection of super 30 was expected to range from 12 to 15 crore on day one.

It has opened mostly on a positive note in metro cities especially in Mumbai and South region. The movie has been getting positive to average reviews and the word of mouth is also decent. The footfall is likely to increase over the weekend.

Taran Adarsh announced box office collection of Super 30 on day one

Famous Tade Analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the latest box office figures for the movie. He wrote “#Super30 has a decent Day 1… Biz picked up at metros/urban centres [Mumbai and South specifically] towards evening… Mass pockets are ordinary/dull… Should witness growth on Day 2 and 3… Sustaining and proving its mettle on weekdays crucial… Fri ₹ 11.83 cr. India biz.”

The movie is based on the journey of the genius mathematician Anand Kumar who runs a coaching class named “Super 30”. Every year Anand Kumar gives free coaching, food and accommodations to 30 underprivileged kids in Patna.

Pankaj Tripathi and Mrunal Thakur are also playing important roles in movie

Apart from the Greek God Hrithik Roshan, the movie also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi and Virendra Saxena in pivotal roles. Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment have produced the film. Sanjeev Guta has penned the story and Vikas Bahl has directed it.

Hrithik Roshan came on the big screen almost after 2.5 years. He was last seen in Kaabil which clashed with Raees in 2017.
