It is a is home to the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest and other high peaks like Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Thamserku, Nuptse, Amadablam and Pumori. Sagarmatha is the ideal destination for trekking in Nepal and gives you an opportunity to experience the beautiful views of the magnificent Mount Everest and the Himalayan Range. It is home to unique flora and fauna, especially to the rare Snow Leopard species. The diversity in this park makes it one of the best places to visit in Nepal. The best time to visit is from October-November and March to May. You should avoid visiting here from June to September as it receives heavy rainfall, which makes it difficult for hiking and camping. December to February is very cold and snowfall is common during these months.
