Bangladesh Urge ICC to lift Taskin ban

While the ongoing cricket T20 world cup is in its full flow, Bangladesh have realised the absence of their paceman and front attack Taskin Ahmed, whose suspension is a dagger in the bowling attack of the Asian team.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board have appealed to the highest cricket court in the world; the ICC, to lift the ban on Taskin who was suspended from bowling in international cricket due to an illegal action during their match against Netherlands in Dharamsala on March 9.

While left arm spinner Arafat Sunny was reported to bowl illegally exceeding the 15 degree limit, not all of Taskin’s balls were found to be legal and now the Bangladeshi team can only sit and request till they get their in-form bowler back in the team.
