#9bje9minutes was super successful but again some stupid people ruined it

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday morning appealed to the people of India to switch of their lights at their homes and light up Diyas, candles, Torchlight and Mobile Flashlight on their doorstep or in their balcony on Sunday, 9 pm for 9 minutes.

As expected, people of all religions, caste, ethnicity, race, creed, color came together to dispel the darkness spread by the COVID-19 and give hope to everyone who is fighting against the deadly outbreak.

However, again some stupid people burnt firecrackers and marched on the street in a group holding torchlight and defying the social distancing rules. They did it despite PM Modi’s instructions to not get out of their homes.

Prime Minister’s appeal crossed all the boundaries of religions and castes. People from all the community came together to light the candle and lamps and spread light of unity.

Even the most affected ones are finding hope through PM’s appeal. Many daily wagers workers were left with no work which led to the exodus of migrant workers.



Ratan Naval Tata, an industrialist, philanthropist and a former chairman of Tata Sons is seen lighting up a Diya.


The adorable couple of Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and one of the leading actresses in Bollywood, Anushka Sharma shared a picture of them lighting the Diyas.


When we took the risk of calling few people stupid, we probably had these people in mind. They seem to care a bit too much.
