Donald Trump won’t allow foreign workers to replace Americans
According to reports, US President –elect Donald Trump has said that he will not allow foreign workers to replace Americans. He said this in an apparent reference to cases like Disney World and other companies wherein people hired on H-1B visas, including Indians.
“We will fight to protect every last American life”, Trump told it to thousands of his supporters in Lowa. He was referring to the cases of Disney world and other US companies, where Americans were replaced by some foreign workers.
Donald Trump further added “During the campaign I spent a lot of time with American workers who were laid off and forced to train. The foreign workers were brought in to replace them. We won’t let them happen anymore.”
Can you believe it?
“Can you believe it that? You get laid off and then won’t give you your severance pay unless you train the people that are replacing you”, he said.
Notably, Disney World and two outsourcing companies have been slapped with a federal lawsuit by two of its former technology staff, they alleged that the company conspired to replace them from cheap foreign labours. They all had H-1B visa and most of them were from India.
- Donald Trump’s comment on H-1B visa holders has come as major setback for the Indians who mostly go to work in US on H-1B visa
- On immigration he said that he will build the wall along the Mexico border
- He reiterated himself and said he will end the illegal immigration and stop the drugs pouring in America
Notably, H-1b Visa issue will severely impact the Indians who go to work in US. And according to experts, it is a potential area of conflict between the two countries.
