Four friends set out on a journey to explore life, have fun and enjoy to the fullest. Get ready to live the magic of ‘FUGLY’, a young and fresh Bollywood movie which smells hot as the brewing coffee, all set to release on 13th of June.
Recently, the four fresh faces, Mohit Marwah, Vijendra Singh, Kiara Advani and Arfi Lamba along with the director Kabir Sadanand were there to promote their upcoming film ‘FUGLY’ at Ramada Central, Gurgaon.
Straight out of the entertainment zone, the movie gives out a message of making an effort to take a stand against issues rather than just cribbing about them and criticizing the policies. Jimmy Shergill, essaying the role of a cop will be seen in an interesting avatar in this movie.
“Each character represents the various parts of Delhi; Mohit who plays ‘Dev’ comes from the Lutyens’ area, the intellectually sound ones. Vijendra who plays ‘Gaurav’ a ‘Jaat’ represents the people who have expanded into Delhi and are basically from Haryana. Kiara who plays ‘Devi’ hails from Defence Colony and lastly, there’s Arfi who plays ‘Aditya’ who comes from the Paharganj area and represents the Baniya community and the traditional trading areas of Delhi,” elaborated Kabir.
The story revolves around the four friends – Dev, Gaurav, Aditya and Devi who are yet to decide on a career and hence, want to make their last few days of freedom count, thus, plan a road trip to Leh to have the time of their lives. Salman Khan and Akshya Kumar have done cameos for the title track of this film, Yeh Fugly Fugly Kya Hai.
With some really good music by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Prashant Vaidyahar and Santokh Singh the movie is produced under the banner Grazing Goat Pictures, owned by megastar Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi.
