Telecommunication company Vodafone on Friday approached High Court for the Trai order. The company has fixed termination charges for wireline to wireless as zero paise and for wireless to wireless to Rs. 0.14 per minute.
The termination charges are payable by one telco, whose subscriber makes the call to another subscriber, who receives the call but the charges would be paid by first for using the second’s network.
The appeal was rejected by the Delhi High Court as the court said TRAI has to be heard. Now the court has asked for the reply from the telecommunication company within four weeks and next hearing will be held on January 16, 2015.
