Actor Vinod Khanna passed away at the age of 70
Veteran actor Vinod Khanna sitting BJP MP Vinod Khanna passed away on Thursday at the age of 70. Notably, he was battling with the fatal disease cancer from past few years. The actor has given us some evergreen films like Amar Akbar Anthony, The Burning Train, Kache Daage, and many more.
He was recently admitted to HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Mumbai. Notably, his picture went viral on the internet in which he was looking fragile had shocked his fans as well as people from film fraternity. Vinod Khanna was born on 6 October, 1946. He was seen in 141 films between 1968- 2013. He was a legendary actor, who had created another level of acting and his looks used to drive girls crazy in the era of 70’s and 80’s.
He made his debut in the year 1968 with the film Mann ka Meet. After making his debut, he was in second lead films and in some negative characters. He was a tough competitor for our angry young man, Amitabh Bachchan. But in the year 1982, he decided to quit his film career. Notably, he was at peak of his career at that time.

He joined politics in the year 1997 and got elected from Gurdaspur on a BJP ticket. During the time of Atal Bihari Vajaypee he went on to become Union Minister for Culture and tourism in 2002.
