US want India- Pak to resolve their Deep Differences :- The White House on Tuesday said that India and Pakistan should peacefully resolve their ‘deeply held differences’ on a number of issues.

The Press Secretary of White House Josh Earnest stated that Washington had a key relationship with Islamabad on security issues.
This was stated during a briefing at the White House, “We have tried to encourage both India and Pakistan to look for various ways to resolve their deeply held differences peacefully.”
Earnest also said that notable threat exists in Pakistan from the extremists and its people have been the victims of these extremist’s activities on numerous occasions.
He added that the United States and Pakistan had a key relationship when it comes to share security concerns in the region, “particularly when such concerns come from the extremist groups.”

Recently, State Department of the US also expressed its concern over the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India. The United Nations had also expressed its concern on the increasing tensions between the two neighbouring countries.
The state department spokesman last week stated that both Pakistan and India need to embrace a more placatory approach and solve their issues in the larger interest of national peace.
US lawmakers have also alerted against an escalation between the two neighbouring countries.
US want that Pakistan should enhance its capability to fight with terrorism.
Earlier Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had sent his special representatives to the United States to share their views with the government officials, thinkers and public at large about the ongoing human rights violations caused by the Indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Senator Mushahid Hussain and MNA Dr Shezra Mansab Ali also met the President of the UN General Assembly Peter Thomson last week.
