Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 9 points, heading into last debate :- Hillary Clinton has marked her lead nationally as she and Donald Trump prepare to meet for their third and the final round of presidential debate, according to three news poll conducted this week.
All three polls which were conducted by the Quinnipiac, Bloomberg and Fox News find that the Democratic nominee is leading by high digits.
All about the polls
In the Quinnipiac poll, released on Wednesday afternoon, Clinton was likely leaded by 9 points, 47 percent to 40 percent. The Libertarian Gary Johnson is on 7 percent in the poll, followed by the Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 1 percent. Earlier in October, Clinton was leading Trump by 5 points in the same poll.
Bloomberg’s survey, which was also released on Wednesday, had Clinton up by a slightly big 9-point margin among the likely voters, 50 percent to 41 percent.
Earlier in mid-September, Clinton had closed the gender gap within the male voters in Bloomberg poll: she won 46 percent of men in the hypothetical two-way race, compared with 44 percent lent to Trump. Amongst women, Clinton leads by 17 points, including 1 point amongst white women.
And according to Fox News’ current poll, conducted on Tuesday, Clinton leads by 6 points. Grabbing 45 percent in the poll, compared with 39 percent gained by Trump, 5 percent for Johnson and 3 percent for Stein.
In and out of three polls
All three polls were taken at least a week after the leak of the 2005 video showing Donald Trump making absurd remarks about women. The tape changed the whole presidential race causing many top Republican leaders to withdraw themselves and thousands of women coming forward and accusing Trump of sexual misconduct or assault.
The Quinnipiac poll surveyed 1,007 likely voters from Oct. 17-18 and has a margin of or +/- 3.1 percentage points. The Bloomberg poll surveyed 1,006 likely voters from Oct. 14-17 and also has a margin of +/- 3.1 percentage points. The Fox News poll surveyed 912 likely voters from Oct. 15-17 and has a margin of +/- 3 percentage points.
