Financial Assistance of 15 lakh will be given to the families of soldiers
Uri Attack: Maha Government announces 15 lakh Financial Assistance :- One of the biggest terror attacks on Army since 2002 took place at Uri on Sunday, which left 18 soldiers dead and 19 injured. An army administrative unit in Uri was attacked by four heavily – armed terrorists in the early hours of the morning.
Maha government announced compensation of 15 lakh
Maharashtra government has announced financial assistance of 15 lakh for the families of Jawans, who lost their lives in the attack.
Apart from Maharashtra government, UP Chief Minister has announced compensation of 20 lakh for the jawans from UP.
After the attack, the country was completely shaken and even Jawans had tears in their eyes. Today to discuss about the situation, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley along with Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Home Minister met Prime Minister.

Initial reports are indicating that the terrorists were from the Jaish- e – Mohammad Tanzeem because some items were found from them which had Pakistani markings.
Well, with this it is clear that Pakistan is in no mood to negotiate with India. The nation doesn’t want any friendly relation with India. Despite of the fact, that India is continuously trying to work on the tensed relation.
Earlier in January, Army was attacked in Pathankot in which 7 soldiers had lost their lives and now the attack in Uri has claimed 17 lives.
How is World reacting?
France, US and China all are condemning Uri attack. France has called on every state to fight effectively against terrorist groups, who are either operating from their territory from outside their territory against other countries.
The US has also shown its deepest concern over the attack and has said that everyone should unite to fight against terrorism which is claiming a lot of lives all across the world.
