Munna Michael to be Tiger’s next
There have been many senior actors and various director ‘jodis’ in the recent past who have done well for many films in succession. Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty (It’s endless), Salman Khan and Kabir Khan [Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan], Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey [Special 26, Baby], Aamir Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani [3 Idiots, PK], Akshay Kumar and Sajid Khan [Heyy Babyy, Housefull, Housefull 2] have all collaborated on many films.
However, when it comes to a relative newcomer, one does not see many actor-director ‘jodis’ yet. Except for Ranveer Singh, who is now pairing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the third time [Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmavati], no one else from current generation [Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor] is seen with the same director for three movies or more.
Munna Michael is much anticipated
Well, there is Tiger Shroff, who comes up as an exception. He is pairing up with Sabbir Khan, the man who has directed him in his debut flick Heropanti, for the third time. While the duo has already scored a couple of back to back hits (the other being Baaghi), their pairing for Munna Michael is also being pretty much anticipated due to their hat-trick factor.
While, considering the fact that both truly understand each other, courtesy the bond that they have managed to establish ever since they came together for their first for the two Sajid Nadiadwala productions, it was pretty much a given that the combination would be repeated.
However, no one knew that it will be so soon. So, while Sabbir has been preparing for Munna Michael, Tiger went ahead and finished A Flying Jatt with Remo D’Souza. Meanwhile, Sabbir set the stage for the young actor and soon enough, the duo started shooting for it as well.
The film is being very much anticipated since it also brings to fold Nawazuddin Siddiqui. With action and dance all set to come together yet again in this Eros and Viki Rajani film, one could definitely look forward to some fireworks all over again in July next year when the film is expected to hit the screens.
