Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest android, the MiA2, and MiA2 lite today in Spain. Notably, the Mi A2 and its lite version will be unveiled at its Global Launch Event in Madrid, Spain at 11 am (local time) today. Key Highlight of the phone

The Xiaomi MiA2 will be the toned down variant of Xiaomi A1. The key highlight of MiA2 and MiA2 lite smartphones will be that both of them will run a stock version of Android instead of the company’s custom ROM, MIUI. Notably, both of them will be a part of Google’s Android One Programme, the two smartphones will come with a promise of optimized Android experience as well as the latest software and security updates.

Expected Price

Xiaomi Mi A2 to be launched today and here is the expected price of both the variants. Recently, a teaser was posted by Xiaomi in which Xiaomi A1 was seen alongside Mi A2 and Mi A2 lite. It was hinting that the price tag would be the same as Mi A1. To recall, the Mi A1 was launched at 14,999. As per reports, it is also possible that MiA2 and MiA2 lite may sport an even lower price tag than its predecessor.

Specifications

As per a report, Xiaomi recently hinted at a possible telephoto lens in the MiA2 and Mi A2 lite. As per the teaser posted by Xiaomi on twitter, two lenses were shown which were magnifying an object that is far away, without losing any detail. Also, another teaser hinted that there could be a soft bokeh effect and portrait mode in both the smartphones. Notably, users would also be able to change focus between background and foreground according to their preference. The phones will be available in two colors- Pink and Blue. Notably, Xiaomi has not officially revealed any particular details about the smartphones but the rumor mill has revealed a lot about them.
