Sushama Swaraj is expected to undergo Kidney transplant at AIIMS next week
According to reports, External Affairs Minister Sushama Swaraj is expected to undergo Kidney transplant at AIIMS next week. Notably, the minister was admitted at AIIMS last month for the kidney failure.
The Minister herself disclosed that she is suffering from kidney failure and had been undergoing treatment at AIIMS via tweet.
As per the report of a leading daily, her pretransplant process was complete and Minister’s vitals were stable, and she is completely fine to undergo the live- saving procedure.
Notably, several people have come forward to donate their kidney. However, doctors are more likely to use the one that has been offered by a relative, reports added.
She was admitted in AIIMS on November 7th and since then she is being monitored by a team of doctors.
The BJP leader was admitted to AIIMS in April also when she underwent the treatment of pneumonia and other health issues.

According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is looking for a successor to Swaraj. He is expected to appoint full- time foreign minister among the limited talent on BJP to replace Sushama Swaraj after the winter session.
