Earthquake measuring 6.9 Ritcher scale hits Tibet close to Arunchal Pradesh
According to reports, a strong earthquake measuring 6.9 Ritcher scale has hit Tibet close to Arunchal Pradesh. Notably, no causalities have been reported but the quake caused great loss to properties and roads in several villages. Also, it caused power failure in many villages.
The epicenter of the quake was detected at a depth of 10 Km in Nyingchi, the state- run Xinhua, as per reports. Four minor aftershocks measuring between 5 to 31. Ritcher scale was felt in some villages.
The Ministry of Transport was also dispatch to investigate the safety condition of bridges affect in the areas.
