The great former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting has revealed that he still gets nightmares about the Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who dismissed him on 10 occasions in the Test cricket matches, the highest wickets by any bowler.
The former Aussie skipper, who has been named the brand ambassador of his home state Tasmania, will be promoting different avenues of the state in India.
Ricky Ponting also praised the Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli, and called him as an ‘ultra-talented’ cricketer.
“Kohli probably has his age on his side. His ODI career has been incredible. He is an extremely skilled and talented player. More importantly, he has that attitude to want to be the best and lead hi country.”

On the proposed two-tier format of the Tests, Ponting said, “I am here for adding as much context to all the formats of the game as possible. The Tests and the two division competition have been in talks from a long time and still haven’t been able to come up with the right program.”
The legendary cricketer also had kind words for newly appointed Indian head coach Anil Kumble. “He has been the stalwarts of the game. He has had great success both as a player and a captain. I worked with him at the Mumbai Indians. He has a great knowledge about the game,” he said.
