Sidhu quits The Kapil Sharma Show:- The Kapil Sharma Show is like a big joint family and it seems incomplete even if a single person leaves the show. According to reports the former cricketer and Rajya Sabha MP Navjot Singh Sidhu will not be seen laughing and giggling on the comedy show anymore.
His stint at the comedy show
Sidhu added a lot of spark to the comedy show which is hosted by the comedy king Kapil Sharma. His laughter was in its own way unique and he was the heart of the show. His shayri’s played a very important role in impressing the female celebrity guests. Sidhu always charmed the girls with his innovative and exclusive shayri’s. He narrated many of them for many actresses, which includes Madhuri Dixit Nene, Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha.

After taking retirement from cricket, Navjot Singh Sidhu started his career on TV-from doing commentary on cricket matches to judging different TV shows and entering politics. Sidhu’s international cricket career came to an end in 1999.
Apart from all this, he is also a motivational speaker and has delivered many speeches on air.
Earlier, he was a part of the comedy show from its very first episode. He also shifted with Kapil from Colors channel to Sony TV after the latter decided to, and this showed the bond he shared with the team.
Kapil and Sidhu have been together since ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ days, and when it comes to their comedy timing, they are always on point.
Earlier, there were different rumors going around about Sidhu leaving the show. But now, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu herself confirmed and said that Sidhu will now be completely focusing on Punjab politics. And that is why he has recorded the episodes of his show till September 30 and has already said a goodbye to the cast and crew of the show.

The cricketer, who turned into a politician wants to focus entirely on the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections. Sidhu will be reaching Amritsar on October 1 and the people in Amritsar are keen to welcome him. There were speculations that he will be joining the Aam Aadmi Party but that however did not materialize.
Recently, Sindhu resigned from the Bharatiya Janta Party and formed his own party called Awaaz-E-Punjab Morcha.
