Shahrukh Khan has been missing from the silver screen for quite some time now and his fans’ patience to watch the star on screen was thinning every passing second.
So, when they finally saw their beloved star on screen last Friday, it was much more than just a Diwali treat for them. But their reaction to Karan Johar’s surprise somehow turned to be rather explosive, because some of them actually blew a theatre in Maharashtra by burning crackers inside the premises.
I King Khan Fans’ madness for their beloved star is not hidden from the world. Everyone knows that to what extend few of them can go just to catch a single glimpse of their superstar.
Many such incidents, be it writing letters from blood to hanging self from the ceiling fan have been making headlines ever since SRK’s stardom accelerated.
But just two days before the star’s birthday, world witnessed a completely new level of craziness by fans for Shah Rukh Khan.
Already ridiculously hyped Karan Johar’s latest directorial venture, Ae Dil hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan finally released last Friday with great pomp and show.
Apparently, the movie had a major surprise waiting for the viewers in store. The surprise turned out to be non-other than the King Khan himself who had a very important cameo appearance in the movie.
Shah Rukh Khan was seen playing the role of Aishwariya’s artist ex-husband.
Though, his role ended merely five minutes but it was enough to pique the excitement of his already delighted fans.
During the entry scene of SRK in a movie screening at a theatre in Malegoan, Maharashtra, some of the over -enthusiastic fans of SRK actually burned crackers in a theatre.
This incident shook some of the witnesses from inside and created a havoc in the premises.
This incident was highly criticized by many. “Deeply disturbing. Shameful incident. What is the law doing about it? Scary!” said a South-Indian actor, Sachin through Twitter referring to the stampede. When throughout the country, people are avoiding the firecrackers, knowing full well their effect on the environment, incidents like this keep degrading not just the environment but the image of the nation as well.
This is the first time any incident of the sort took place and hopefully, this is the last time as well.
