Sensex raised to 64 points as December sequence begins on a positive note

The standard BSE Sensex hiked by 64 points to reach the height of 26,000 marks in early hours of trade today as December sequence begins on a positive note.

The 30-share index Sensex, which had earlier gained 182.89 points has now increased to 64.11 points and reached at the higher level of 26,022.74.

The share of auto, banking and metal sector index of BSE showed positive response by gaining up to 0.64 per cent.

Also, the 50-share index of NSE Nifty raised upto 0.33 percent and ended at the higher level of 7,910.60.
