Facts you probably didn’t know about Avicii, the star who said goodbye to all of us too soon
Swedish DJ Avicii has died in Muscat, Oman, at the age of 28. He was too young and still his fans and family are not able to believe that he is no more. It’s a huge loss for everyone who actually loves Avicii. Well, our condolences are with his family.
Who was Avicci?
Tim Bergling aged 24 from Stockholm, Sweden, known professionally as Avicci was a Swedish DJ, remixer and record producer who demands $250,000 a night when he plays at the biggest nightclubs or festivals around the world. He was ranked 3rd in the DJ Mag’s top 100 DJ list, coming just behind Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. He was just a superstar.
When did he start making music?
Avicii started out by making mixes in his own bedroom at the age of 8. He produced a number of mixes, among them a remix of ‘Lazy Jones’, the theme song for the Commodore 64 game. We will miss you.

1.Avicii’s real name was Tim Bergling.
2.He said his stage name comes from Avici which is the lowest level of Buddhist hell, however, the name was taken on MySpace so he added another ‘i’, hence Avicii.
3.He co-wrote and co-produced Coldplay’s song “A Sky Full Of Stars”.
4.LE7ELS was the song that launched Avicii into the mainstream charts, it reached the top 10 all around the world. The song included a sample of ‘Something’s Got a Hold on Me’ by Etta.
5.Avicii’s song ‘Fade into Darkness’ incorporates elements of ‘Perpetuum Mobile’ by Penguin Cafe Orchestra.
6.Avicci says that his key musical influence is Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, and Eric Prydz.
7.His mother is a famous Swedish actress called Anki Liden and has done countless of movies.
8.Two of his songs have been nominated Grammys for Best Dance Recording, ‘Sunshine’ in 2012 and LE7ELS in 2013.
