Rahul Gandhi, the Congress vice-president will be today holding a public meeting in Jagdishpur in his parliamentary constituency Amethi situated in Uttar Pradesh.
Gandhi will be staying back at the Munshigunj Guest House in Amethi and is further scheduled to attend several political and also non-political functions. He will chair a meeting of the party leaders at Munshiganj. He has also posted a tweet regarding his visit.

During the visit to Amethi, he is expected to rake up the issue of multiple development projects which have been stalled by the BJP-led Ndaregime at the Centre.
As per reports, these developmental projects were also introduced during the former UPA regime.
Mr. Gandhi will also be launching a month-long “mahayatra” in Uttar Pradesh, which would be covering 39 districts from September 6, the party has announced on Monday.
Congress General Secretary and also the state in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azadhad said that, the yatra would start from Rudrapur in the state’s Deoria district and would be culminating in Delhi.
