Talking about the current situation of Indian cricket team, former star batsman, Rahul Dravid said that knowledge of elders and the energy of young cricketers are important for the upliftment of the game.
The former captain said that at present, we have every reason to be positive, but we must struggle to be creative leaders of the cricket game.
Rahul Dravid also asserted that junior level cricket must increase in the country and participation in game by kids would give chance to have fun and enjoy the game for boys and girls both.
“The private academies can serve as the medium of this exercise; they are nurseries of our cricket and we are lucky to have so many. If a five to seven year old kid is well taken care in our academies, we are not going to lose their talent,” he further added.
