Children nowadays suffer from the problem of burnout. From enthusiastic children to intelligent youngsters, nobody claims to be immune to burnout. Being a parent it is your duty to protect your child against burnout.

Burnout at school can cause frustration and intellectual stagnation. A child who feels fatigued mentally and physically usually becomes undisciplined and detracted from his goal.
Simply follow the following tips to protect your child from catching the bug:
Avoid involving your child in multiple activities. Do not over-burden your child with hectic schedule. If your child’s day is full of academics and martial art sessions, he surely will feel exhausted.
Constantly tired and fatigued kids become distracted and irritable soon. Make sure your kid gets sufficient time to relax. At least eight hours of sleep is essential for your child.
Scale down excessive parental expectation:
In order to fulfill their expectations, many parents expect their children to participate in various extracurricular activities. This puts an unnecessary load on their children and they work harder and harder to make their parents happy.
Talk to your child and try to find out his interests. Make him participate in events and competitions of his choice instead of forcing him to do things against his interests.
Prioritize and delegate:
If your child is in the habit of indulging in many activities, teach him to realize his priorities and do the task as per importance.
Tell your child that it is perfectly fine to say ‘no’ and refuse to take additional responsibilities.
If you think your kid is finding it difficult to cope with work at school, help him with homework. You can even hire a tutor.
Schedule fun time:
Plan time when you can play with your child. This is extremely important as it strengthen your relationship with your child. Take your child out on sightseeing, amusement parks, movies, etc. Spend time with your child.
