Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the foundation stone of Delhi-Meerut Expressway project.
The project will cost Rs. 7566 crores and will include creation of 74 Km long Delhi-Dasna-Meerut 14 lane Expressway and upgradation of 22 Km long Dasna-Hapur sector of NH-24 in three phases.
The way of Delhi-Meerut Expressway will start from Nizammudin Bridge from Delhi and will carry on existing NH – 24 upto Dasna.
From Dasna there will be a completely new route upto Meerut. The path will terminate on inner ring road or Meerut bypass near Railway crossing at Meerut.
Right now there is only one way, NH-58 connecting Delhi and Meerut on which the traffic remains lodged at numerous places, thus causing a lot of problem to people.
