The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited the stilt house where the esteemed leader Ho Chi Minh lived.

Ho Chi Minh was the President and the Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
“A visit to a place which is deeply respected by Vietnamese! PM visits the Nha San Bac Ho, where President Ho Chi Minh’s lived,” tweeted Vikas Swarup the Ministry of External Affairs official spokesperson.
“Hoping an auspicious start. PM Narendra Modi and PM Phuc also feed fish in Uncle Ho’s pond inside the Presidential compound,” he added.
The Prime Minister of India, who arrived in the capital city of Vietnam Hanoi Hanoi last night, also met the PM of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Earlier today, the Indian PM Mearlier paid homage to the national heroes and martyrs at their respective monuments.
He also laid the wreath at the war memorial located across the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and close to the Hanoi Citadel.
Later Prime Minister Modi paid homage to the respected leader Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.
Finally, he was accorded with a ceremonial welcome at the Presidential Palace and was given a guard of honour by the Government of Vietnam.
