Net banking as a payment option in India
Google Play Store has recently rolled out Net banking as a payment method in India. The option was for the first time spotted by Android Police, which was out with a screenshot of the same. “Prior to this addition, Indian users could only pay through their debit/credit cards or Play Store gift cards,” the site said.
According to various reports, Google has also tied-up with close to 30 banks for this Net banking payment facility in India. The addition of Net banking will further make it easier for users to buy apps, books, movies and songs from Google Play Store.
Users, who have found the new payment method particularly useful, tweeted about the same. “.@GooglePlay supports this net banking of many Indian banks, which include @TheOfficialSBI. Payment made easier,” said one of the Twitter users who further goes by the name @AkhileshTekade. “Great news is google playstore in India now will be supporting net banking in the payment method for many banks @GoogleIndia @GooglePlay,”said another user Kishan V.

Moreover, the Play Store will be further expanding to new platforms, which include wearable devices, virtual reality headsets and also Google’s Chromebook laptops.
The company is planning to give developers single entry point for more and more of the computing system and it is looking forward for it.
Google Play Store also allows the Idea users to pay for apps, games and books on Google Play directly through their postpaid and prepaid accounts. The in-build operator is the billing feature that has extended to in-app purchases. So, thanks to Google for making payment easier for all of us.
