Actress Vidya Balan is not at all in a mood to join hubby’s business
Just like her career, personal life of Vidya Balan has been a topic of discussion many times.
After the failure of movies like Ghanchakkar, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, and Bobby Jasoos, many commented that she would say a goodbye to the Bollywood industry. However, the actress said she loves to act and would like to act throughout her life.
However, one thing about which she is extremely clear is that she will never work with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur. We know that her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur is one of the men who acted as a catalyst in promoting content-driven films in recent times. He recently resigned from the post of CEO of Disney India and is now starting his own venture
Vidya’s take on joining hubby’s business
In a recent interview, Vidya Balan refused to discuss anything about Siddharth’s business plans but clarified she would not work with him ever in future.
It is a choice that they made during the filming of Ghanchakkar. The actress did not interact at all with the MD whom she was dating at that point of time.
The actress also stated, “I wanted to protect our relationship, I never wanted any clashes. Ghanchakkar was my first release post marriage and I felt guilty, personalising its failure. Siddharth, a more objective one, told me that it is ridiculous to feel that way. I know that now, but I do not want to put myself in the same situation again.”
However, she later said that Siddharth is indeed the perfect man for her. The Kahaani actress cannot imagine herself being married to someone else. The lady also discussed how women take a backseat about themselves once they are married. “I caught myself doing the same, only for Siddharth to ask me if this was what I always wanted,” she further added.
Vidya said that the process of making adjustments tends to leave a mark on a woman’s original personality. “But my husband lets me be who I am. More than anything else, my marriage taught me to value myself. It is all about “do jisms and do jaans” being together”, she stated.
The actress will be soon seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani 2 as Durga Rani Singh. Vidya revealed that many times the bad weather conditions made it really tough to shoot the movie.
The monsoons had arrived early so everyone had to work in the limited time span. “When it rained, it poured, so we would wake up at 4 am and turns up on the set, all ready and rehearsed, by the time day broke, trying to make the most of the sun.
It was tough, with temperatures rising to around 45-46 degrees Celsius. We were drained, some fainted, tempers flared, Vidya concluded.
