Delhi government has decided not to extend the policy of odd and even for the vehicles in the Delhi.
A fine of Rs 2000 will be charged for those, who violate the rules during those 15 days.
The odd-even rule will be implemented from 8am to 8pm on weekdays only. The plan will not be implemented on Sundays.
VIPs essential services vehicles like police or fire brigade, CNG and only-women cars will be exempted from the measure to check vehicular overcrowding and discharge.
There are more than 19 lakh private four-wheelers vehicles registered in Delhi and nearly half of these will go off the roads with the implementation of the motivated odd-even formula.
