Barack Obama, the United States president called up Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss about the progress made in climate change. President and Prime Minister had a discussion on this topic told White House Press Secretary, Josh Earnest to the reporters.
He further added that probably President Obama would also be talking over phone with his Chinese counterpart too. Obama had already spoken with his Brazilian counterpart Dilma Rousseff .
Earnest said, “I can tell you that today the President placed a telephone call to Prime Minister Modi of India to discuss the ongoing negotiations. I would anticipate that over the course of this week as the negotiations continue, the President would be in touch with other world leaders.”
