Nutritious and Healthy Diet

 

The famous maxim, healthy mind lives in a healthy body is absolutely true to the core. With today’s fast moving lifestyle, people are neglecting their diet and resorting to junk food. The result is but obvious- rising blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases and obesity.

 

Here is mentioned some healthy nutritious foods to make your day energetic and keep you healthy all day long.

 

Early Morning:

Begin you day with honey and lemon juice in lukewarm water. It is always advisable to start the day with something that eliminates harmful acids from your body.

 

For Breakfast:

You can either have a piece of brown bread and egg white omelet or a bowl of cornflakes with skimmed milk.

 

Sprouted beans and fruit salad is also ideal for breakfast.

 

Pre Lunch:

You might feel hungry prior to lunch; drink a cup of black coffee. This will boost your metabolism.

 

Lunch:

A healthy and low calorie lunch can have boiled Dal, salad, one chapatti, a small bowl of curd and vegetable Daliya.

 

You can also have roasted or grilled chicken once a week.

 

Evening:

Around 4 and 5 in the evening, you might feel hungry again. Have a citrus fruit or green tea with two Marie Lite biscuits. You can also have boiled or roasted grams to satisfy your evening hunger pangs.

 

Dinner:

Dinner should be light and take it early around 7.30pm to 8pm.

 

Have salad, soup and boiled soyabean. You can eat a bowl of Dal and salad. If your appetite is not satiated, eat vegetable Daliya.
