According to reports, Norway’s biggest church has lost 25000 members in a month after the launch of online system for the people to easily opt out and Sign in.
The Lutheran Church is the official religion in Norway and three quarters of members were registered there as the members.
On August 12 the Church had launched its online system to update its heavily criticized records and offer an easy way to join or leave and shockingly since then around 25,000 people have left.
Within 24 hours of the site launching , 10,854 had deregistered themselves. Notably in a survey it was found that majority of Norwegians do not believe in God.
