Noor Review is here, Sonakshi Sinha has just nailed it!
Sonakshi Sinha is A1 actress in Bollywood. Despite being part of several blockbusters in the past, Sonakshi Sinha was able to show her talent in selected films only. The audience most often has seen her playing the heroine of the hero which gave her little scope to prove her worth. From Dabangg to Rowdy Rathore Sonakshi was seen in the supportive character. Well, we must say the actress has changed her image after working in Sunhil Sippy’s Noor. Sonakshi’s Noor is based on Pakistani journalist Saba Imtiaz’s book Karachi! You’re Killing Me, the film narrates the tale of a Mumbai based journalist Noor Roy Choudhary and her misadventures.
What is the film all about?
The film is all about a journalist and her problems. Her career is not going great, she aspires to do serious journalism and her love life is non-existent. One day Noor finds a case that might change her entire life. The film also features Purab Kohli, Shibani Dhandekar and stand-up comedian Kanan Gill. The book on which the film is based was a bestseller. It would be interesting to see if the makers are able to recreate the same magic on the big screen as well. Music of the film is less entertaining though.

It always feels good to see a celebrity playing the role of a journalist onscreen. Sona had played a perfect journalist in the Noor. The first half of Noor is very enjoyable you will definitely not get bored. Though nothing major happens plot-wise till much later, the screenplay is quite engaging showing the problems of Noor as she struggles with life, love, and career. From starting to till the end movie will surprise you and you can definitely relate to it. Especially journalists!
Might be Noor will be a life changing film for Sonakshi Sinha! Let’s see what response it will get from the audience? We rate it 2.5 stars!
