Our talking session was still on, oh! I am sorry rather; I should say his, because I was the one, who was quiet on that day. Though, I am not the one, who has a shy nature but at that time, I chose to keep quiet as I was observing him carefully.
His lips were in a rhythm while he was talking and his bold manly voice was really soothing. After sometime, he interrupted am I talking to myself?
Are you listening? I answered of course yes! Actually, I was bit busy in sipping my coffee. He again laughed, this time we both laughed together.
Ever since our marriage got fixed, we had discussions on various matters like our office matters, family matters and of course all about wedding preparations but we never got into each other’s personal space.
All of a sudden, he asked me how you are feeling by the way? I remained honest and said okay! Okay. He smiled and said, I can understand and then our conversation took an interesting turn.
After discussing about hilarious moments during the wedding, relatives, gifts etc. He asked about my ‘Ex’, I was baffled as in last 8 months, he never asked about my past nor did he mention about his. This topic was something out of the track and I was not in mood to discuss about it.
I had two relationships in past but they didn’t work out and had left an emotional scar on me and when I was starting my new life, I didn’t want even to discuss about them. I was quiet but he continued and mentioned about his ex –girlfriend.
I was wondering, why even we are talking about them? I wanted to ask him are you drunk? But I listened to him carefully and did not interrupt in between.
He said he had a very serious relationship with her but her parents were not
ready. I was sitting next to him and my phone was with me. He asked me can I use your phone?
Sure, I replied. We were not from SRK era; in fact we are the couple of social media era. So, just like the husband of modern era he logged into his FB account and shared his password with me. I was impressed by this sweet gesture. Now, I was okay about discussing his ex.
I insisted him to show her pictures to me and when I saw them, I was quite jealous as she was damn hot.
Though, I was not among those girls, who get jealous easily because I find myself prettier from lot of other girls. A short- heighted girl with silky hair, dusky complexion, and big eyes always filled with Kajal and of course 28 inch waist that, I always use to flaunt.
And then, I actually don’t remember, when I fell asleep. Next day when I woke up, it was 9 ‘o’ clock. There was nobody in my room. My eyes were searching for him. Suddenly, I found a gift on table along with my breakfast and a note.
Thanks for becoming part of my life. I know you were not happy with my decision on talking about our ex but it is important for you to know everything about me.
I know we have different equation that cannot be judged through facebook or phone password but it just I want to include you in every aspect of my life. And trust me! In return I don’t want to know about yours. Whenever you feel like sharing things, you can go ahead.
I know you were the princess of your parents but trust me! I will keep you as a queen here. I will never enforce my wishes on you and I am happy that you want to take things slow.
There is a small gift for you. Before I could handover it, you fell asleep. It’s a ring that I bought from my first salary for my future wife and I am glad that you will wear it. Hope you will like it.
Your Best Friend,
(I would love to write your love Kabir but first I would love to win your love)
His words took me to the world of my fantasies, where I use to dream about the king of my dreams and finally he was here in my life.
That morning, I discovered love of my life. I got someone who was not interested in undressing my clothes but was interested in undressing my soul. Now, I am no more jealous from his ex because now I completely own him.
So, this was my story, some of us discover love before marriage and some us get to know what is love after marriage but for sure we all get our love.
