Love Sonia Trailer Review: A hard-hitting tale of Human Trafficking
Love Sonia Trailer Review- In India, 270 women and girls go missing every day. Now, this has become something that absolutely demands the public’s attention. So to throw some on this dark side, the director, Tabrez Noorani (director of the academy award nominated film ‘Life of Pi’) has done a stupendous job by making a film on human trafficking. The film is sought to be powerful and haunting with the amazing cast which includes Richa Chadda, Manoj Bajpai, Anupam Kher, Rajkumar Rao and Murnal Thakur as Sonia, a 17-year-old girl, among others.
Love Sonia Trailer Review: Story Plot
The film is about two sisters- Preeti and Sonia. Due to some reason, Preeti was sold off to the prostitutes by her family. But, her sister Sonia without numbing her voice step out in search of Preeti to bring her back home. However, Sonia ended up in a brothel herself where she was being forced into prostitution. So, the two minutes trailer takes you through the struggles of Sonia. In the trailer, Sonia also meet with people who console her by ensuring her the protection against the vicious flesh trade. The trailer also showed her encounter with journalists, social workers, and prostitutes.
Love Sonia is inspired by the real events. The unbreakable willpower of a young girl to take her sister out of the clutches of sex traffickers is worth watching. “Love Sonia”, presented by Tamasha talkies and Samraj talkies is all set to release on 14th September 2018 in cinemas.
