Popular comedian Kapil Sharma, who is known for his forever-jovial mood and his quirky disposition, but on Friday morning, he showed a side of himself we all have rarely seen.
Kapil took to Twitter frustrated over paying a bribe of Rs 5 lakh to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to get his office made. And TV star has even tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the tweet.
Kapil Sharma has always been a fan of Modi, and he is often seen expressing his wish to invite him to his show for a special episode.
Kapil Sharam and Prime Minister Narendra Modi
“If we have Mr Modi on the show we will not talk about politics, party and all. I would really love to know how a man from a small town has come so far and became the PM of our country. It is an inspirational story. I will try and talk to him,” he had said in March this year.
But according to us this is not a jibe at the Prime Minister, but just an appeal for help from someone who is just as helpless in the face of corruption as any other common man.
Kapil is currently running The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV with Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover and Navjot Singh Sidhu. He is further planning to start a film division soon.
